LUX COLLECTIVE TO OPEN VIC FALLS PROPERTY
The Lux Collective has signed a hotel management agreement for its second safari project, LUX Xinii Victoria Falls, set to open in 2028 on the Zimbabwe side of the falls. The property will launch with 12 suites, with a further 14 to be added later.
Facilities will include 2 restaurants, swimming pools, and spa and wellness areas, offering an ultra-luxury safari and wellness experience.
This follows the signing of LUX Xinii Mababe in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, due to open in early 2027. The group is also exploring future developments in the Serengeti, further strengthening its premium African portfolio.
Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff Johannesburg has opened its new Destination Lobby and Lobby Lounge, completing a redevelopment project that began in 2023. The final phase focuses on expanding guest spaces and strengthening the hotel’s events offering.
Overlooking Forest Town, Saxonwold and Rosebank, the new lobby features a large veranda and a 40-seat Lobby Lounge, which operates as a patisserie and casual dining venue by day and a cocktail lounge in the evenings. The design reflects Johannesburg’s mining heritage through metallic accents, natural stone and textured finishes.
The update also includes an expanded check-in area, underground parking, improved access to the hotel’s restaurants and spa, and a separate entrance for the Grand Ballroom.
