Debunking Golf Myths
Myth 1: Golf Is Too Difficult for Beginners
While challenging at first, golf is enjoyable at any skill level. The handicap system allows fair competition, and beginners can start on mashie courses or at driving ranges before moving on to full courses.
Myth 2: Golf Is Only for Older Men
Golf is for everyone. People of all ages, genders, backgrounds, and abilities can play and compete on equal terms thanks to the handicap system.
Myth 3: Golf Doesn’t Keep You Fit
A round of golf involves walking 6–7 kilometres, helping to burn calories and improve fitness while also supporting mental wellbeing.
Myth 4: You Must Belong to a Golf Club
Club membership has benefits, but it isn’t essential. Many golfers enjoy the sport without belonging to a club.

Once close to extinction, this distinctive grape has enjoyed a remarkable revival and is now grown in wine regions across the world, including South Africa.
Expect enticing aromas of apricot, peach, mango, honeysuckle, orange blossom and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is typically dry yet generous and smooth, often with a creamy texture and a luxurious mouthfeel.
Whether enjoyed on a summer afternoon or paired with a leisurely meal, this white wine variety delivers both character and charm.
