SABI SABI EXPANDS WITH NEW PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Sabi Sabi Collection has expanded its portfolio with the addition of Sandringham Private Game Reserve, which is set to welcome its first guests in August.
Located along the Timbavati River, the reserve will offer 2 luxury safari camps, N’weti and Shisaka, each with 6 suites. Shisaka Camp will also feature 2 private villas, while Sandringham House will be available as an exclusive-use, fully serviced 4-bedroom villa.
Over the past 5 years, the property has been transformed from a former hunting reserve into a conservation-focused safari destination. The reserve also supports community development through a partnership with the Tracker Training Academy, helping young people from neighbouring communities build careers as professional trackers.

TULI SAFARI LODGE MASHATU CONFIRMS REFURBISHMENT DATES
Tuli Safari Lodge Mashatu has confirmed that it will temporarily close from 29 November 2026 to 7 February 2027 as it undertakes the next phase of its refurbishment and sustainability enhancement programme.
During the closure, the lodge will replace all existing decking with environmentally friendly composite decking and install a new eco-friendly Scarab wastewater management system. These upgrades build on the solar infrastructure already implemented at the property and form part of its long-term commitment to reducing its environmental footprint.
The improvements reflect Mashatu’s ongoing investment in sustainable tourism while ensuring that guests continue to enjoy an exceptional safari experience in the future. Alternative accommodation options within the Mashatu Collection, together with special offers, will be available during the refurbishment period.
