Clovelly is one of the most scenic courses in the Cape Peninsula and is unique in that it follows neither the links nor the American tradition in its design. It is a tight course by South African standards, and has a fine blend of testing holes. Longer hitters will be tempted to drive the green on a few par 4s, yet the challenge at Clovelly lies more in accuracy than in distance.  A favourite course of Bobby Locke, each hole has a special distinctive setting, with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and False Bay.

Located in Constantia Valley, with Table Mountain as its backdrop, and close proximity to tourist attractions and the airport, Steenberg Estate is a must-visit destination with a must-play golf course.

Consistently named one of the best conditioned courses in South Africa Golf Digest’s Annual Top 100. Known for its hybrid plan, it offers traditionalists the opportunity to ‘bump and run’ (a rare shot in South Africa) in the rough around the greens, and to meet the challenges of strategically placed sand pits and waterways. Its environmental diversity gives the course its unique character.

In 1998, Royal Johannesburg and Kensington golf club joined together. Royal has long been looked up to as one of the foremost golf clubs in the southern hemisphere, and is the only SA member of the World of Leading Golf. The club has hosted at least 28 SA championships (men and women), including 6 championships from 2020 to 2022, and has hosted the Joburg Open for 11 consecutive year.

The East Course of the The Royal Johannesburg Golf Club stands out as one of the continent’s leading championship layouts. After completing a full revamp in 2017, it now delivers more of a challenge for the serious player as well as changes that ensures the club golfer enjoys their round.

The West Course is shorter, and provides a different golf experience to the East. Players who stray away from the fairways and generous-sized greens, will quickly find trees, water or frustration in abundance.
